Website Design and development
The purpose for this website is to keep all the home owners at North Hills community updated on current events and issues that are occurring in the private community. This will be a central site that every home owner will have access to base on information about the community.
The site is need to inform all home owners of any events, news, and schedules for the club house. This helps reduce any confusion of informing by home owners and reduce memos and letters being mailed out to home owners for any little update. Its starts to become spam mail at their house after a while.
This site will be useful because this would be the central location for everyone to go to. Instead of calling the receptionist or asking a fellow neighbor, simply by going to the site the information is at their fingertips. Having the site is a quick update and everyone would know quicker than by mailing memos to home owner.
The type of audiences would be home owners from the community. The location of which majority would be from home access and others from general offices. The site would be accessed about 200 – 300 home owners at any given time. The average age of the audience is about 30 – 65 years old. They are familiar with using internet and computers.
The insight of developing this site is to make it as simple as possible to navigate and read. The audience would get easily inpatient if they cannot understand or be able to read the font size on their browsers. The navigation is key to making this site successful so they can with easy go from page to page.

...Unit 9 Assignment IT177-02 Website Design Unit 9 Assignment The entire concept behind website design is to be user-friendly. All content needs to be driven by the end user’s needs. Websites are used to relay information and entertain. A difficult to use or understand website will not garner any users, thus wasting time and effort. A website must be designed with all people in mind, from the disabled to the young. The average internet user has a very short attention span and if a website isn’t immediately engaging, the user will move on. There are also language barriers that prevent websites from being useful. Websites are created in every country, in every language, in every dialect of language. The content needs to be translated for the information to be universal. There are many tools and websites that translate information to be understandable to every internet user on the planet. Google Translate. Initial problems, with my last name being Bell, translation did not realize it was a surname, and translated it. I initially translated my page into German, where it translated it to Glocke. There are phrases that it also didn’t pick up and translate at all. Management Accounting and Bachelor of Science were not translated and left in English. Program Design & Development

...If you want to use such a module in a different program, you will most likely have to redesign it so it does not rely on the global variable. Global variables make a program hard to understand. A global variable can be modified by any statement in the program. If you are to understand any part of the program that uses a global variable, you have to be aware of all the other parts of the program that access the global variable. A global constant is a named constant that is available to every module in the program. It is permissible to use global constants. Because their value cannot be changed during the program's execution, you do not have to worry about its value being altered.
