"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do." – Steve Jobs

My main mission is to reach a senior position in my banking or financial career and to demonstrate that hearing impaired people can also rise to the professional level through determination, hard work and perseverance. To be considered dependable and invaluable among my colleagues and seniors that I can produce timely and quality work in my assignments. My personal mission is to promote and demonstrate respect for property, beliefs, ideas and opinions of my family and others and stand up for my country’s constitution. I will accept responsibility for my mistakes in which I will study from them. I will welcome constructive criticism as it helps me make better decisions and character. I will act honorably and integrity in challenging situations. My actions will be done with the best of intentions, honest, ethical, and true to what I believe.

My community mission is to continue to help families of deaf and hard of hearing people with technologies, strategies and encouragement to enable them to be successfully mainstreamed into school, work and everyday life.

...My Personal Mission Statements I’ve been living in this world for 20 yrs. I’m with a loving family that stays strong no matter how hard the problem is. I’m Rogiena Joy Clavel the only daughter of Rogelio and Norina Clavel. I have 5 brothers and I’m second to the eldest. I grew up that all the things I want is I can get. Maybe one of the reason is I’m the first granddaughter in my mother side and I’m the only girl in our family. They all treat me like a baby until now mostly my uncle. I graduated high school in Jose Rizal Institute (Orion). First I took up Nursing in BPSU but I wasn’t able to finish that course so I decided to change school and course. Now, I currently enroll in Tomas Del Rosario College taking up BEED and now I’m in 3rd year. I can’t live without my family. They give me strength in times that I feel weak. The love of my family is priceless. They not going to live you no matter how hard the situation is. They are less than a lover but more than a friend. No place like home. The only place that you feel safe and loved. Even sometimes we have an argument but my parents don’t let the day past to fix that. The bond that links us is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof. Someday I will become a teacher. A teacher that will become a role model to her students. A teacher that will makes her parent’s proud. A teacher that will make her parents dream come true. A teacher that...

Knowing that this decision may change the routine, future, and even financial status of the individual and family members, either temporarily or for a lifetime can be daunting. Once that decision is made, and by putting into perspective the reason for selecting the career choice with the use of a mission statement, one can put the ideas in an order that can be understood and provide a direction for that goal. The purpose of a mission statement is to provide one with a purpose, by declaring desired values, in order to meet a need (Radtke, 1998). ...Personal Mission Statement Section I: My Role in My Education I am attempting to successfully earn a bachelors degree in Computer Hardware Engineering within five years. In order to achieve this goal I will need to adapt to a new environment beyond high school. In college the students have more responsibilities and a higher level of accountability. Balancing priorities such as saving money to help pay for my education and submitting my assignments on time without any reminders. I am willing to put forth my all in my work so I can learn new information that I will use in real life. In five years, I will hopefully have completed my degree at DeVry University. After I have done that I will continue on with my education while I am working for a well paying computer company. Me and my family will be staying in California in our brand new house. There will be so many different obstacles that could keep me from achieving my goal. One of the biggest obstacles relates with paying for college. If I can’t get financial aid I will have to work more hours so I can save more money. While doing this it could cause my grades to fall or to get kicked out of school. In order for me to overcome this problem I will have to make a monthly budget plan for school. The second obstacle is procrastination. Because I am good for putting things off to the side until the last moment. I will have to learn how to balance my work and the time I use to spend with my friends. I plan to use my online...

Personal Mission Statement

...Personal Mission Statement Section One: My Role in My Education At this moment in time, I have recently completed my first session at DeVry University towards my Health Information Technology degree. In five years from now, I will hope to have completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and have some great experience working from home performing Medical Billing and Coding. I would also like to be moving towards pursing my CPA license. Using both educational degrees, I hope to be successful in both the office and at home as well as inspiring others to further educate themselves. Life would be uneventful if it ran perfectly without a few hurdles to jump here and there along the way. Time and money management are two very important factors to being successful and are also two subjects that happen to be budgeted very tightly. At this time, I am working full time at a lower rate of pay, leaving my bi-weekly income still low along with less time for school. With this type of schedule, I normally have two days off a week and my evening/nights available for school work, house chores, dinner, shopping, and any other errands or extracurricular activities. Should my time not be managed correctly, some of my weekly activities may get missed causing them to build up upon one another leading to stress. When I begin to stress and worry about things not getting completed, some tasks don’t get my all or completed to its fullest trying to work on everything all at once. Doing so could......

Mission Statements

...Criteria of a Good Mission Statement Changing the mission or creating an organization’s first mission statement is a process of gathering ideas and suggestions for the mission and honing them into a short, sharply focused phrase that meets specific criteria. An effective mission statement clearly defines who the customer is and what services and products the business intends to provide. It also serves as a guide for day-to-day operations and as the foundation for future decision-making. The following are criteria for a good mission statement: The Mission Statement is Focuses on Satisfying Customer Needs A mission statement should focused on satisfying customer needs rather than being focused on the product. Products and technologies eventually become outdated, but basic market needs may last forever. A market-oriented mission statement defines the business in terms of satisfying basic customer needs. For examples refer to the following “Market-Oriented Business Definitions” table. (Kotler p.49) The Mission Statement Tells “Who” Our Customers are. (Thompson Strickland, p.30) Who is being satisfied? A company should define the type of customers it wishes to serve. Which customer groups it is targeting. Customer groups are relevant because they indicate the market to be served, the geographic domain to be covered, and the types of buyers the firm is going after. The Mission Statement Explains “What” Customer Needs Our Company is Trying to Satisfy. What customer needs is the...

Mission Statements

...Mission statements are an essential element of a company’s organizational strategy and serve as foundational guides in the establishment of company objectives. They embody the philosophies, goals, and ambitions of a company and should offer insight into what company leader’s view as the primary purpose for being in business. A mission statement is quite possibly the most important issuance that a company has to offer to all of its customers or consumers. It can help focus the organization on what really matters to itself as well as its stakeholders. They act as the glue that binds organizations together through the guidance of strategic and day-to-day operational decisions. An effective mission statement indicates how a firm is unique in its scope of operations and its products or service offerings. In addition, it proclaims corporate purpose, what the organization tends to accomplish, the market in which the firm intends to operate, and the philosophical bounds that are to guide their actions. The coffee industry has boomed in recent years. While fast food chains are growing at a rate of 2% each year, coffee shop chains grow more than 10% annually. According to the National Coffee Association Annual Drinking Trends Survey, “Even though 75% of the cups of coffee brewed daily are consumed at home, 66% of Americans buy their coffee outside of their homes.” This creates a strong demand in the coffeehouse market. Statista defines coffeehouses as “small establishments selling......

Personal Mission Statement

...Personal Mission Statement My mission in life is to please God. This mission drives me through each milestone of life, onward to the lifetime goal of hearing my God say, “well done, you have been a good and faithful servant”. My focus, direction, purpose, motivation, decisions, and every breath I take is for His purpose. Many of my days are as I described above. Some are not, some days I struggle to hold on to joy and peace. To fulfill this mission, I live by many principles. Below are the top five. 1 I recognize that I cannot please a God I do not know; I must understand His nature and His ways in order to acknowledge Him in all my ways and receive His direction for my life. • I make it a point to rise up early and pray (talk) to God. Communication is essential for any relationship to be successful. Communication is two-way, after I talk to God; I listen to His voice by reading and meditating on His word to see in what way I am being instructed. Effective communication with God leads to better relationship with my husband, children and my neighbors (everyone else). • Right communication and right relationship leads to right counsel in all decision-making processes. Marriage, Money, children, religion, investments, giving respect and etc… 2 I love God, people and myself. I recognize that God loves everyone. It can be challenging sometimes but I strive to love people as God loves me. God deals with me and my issues every day and does not love me...

...Personal Mission Statement Section I: My Role in My Education Currently I am at the beginning of my studies. I am in the process of completing my first two classes with Devry. In five years I will have completed obtaining my degree, and will be working for a large accounting firm as a successful business woman. I will apply my strong leadership and excellent characteristics to help improve that company. If I am a proficient account I may be running my own accounting firm. My final goal is I would like to work from home as a successful accountant to allow more time for my family, and show my family that I am a positive role model. Currently in choosing my classes I have been working with an academic advisor. I have had several credits transfer into DeVry, which has helped. It will take approximately two and a half years to complete my courses with DeVry. At the completion of my courses with DeVry I hope to use what I have learned and work further with my CPA degree. As with obstacles that occur during life those are inevitable. Currently money is tight, which requires I to live paycheck to paycheck. I am trying to juggle work, school, and being a full time mom, which is difficult. I feel that sometimes I am neglecting my son to complete my studies, but I know in the end that I am trying to be a good role model for him, and show him that if mommy can do this anyone can succeed if they put their mind to it. My husband is opening a new store, and he is......
