I/O Devices I/O devices enable us to control the computer and display information in a variety of ways. In computing, input/output or I/O is the communication between a computer and the outside world, possibly a human or information processing systems. Inputs are the signals or data received by the system and outputs are the signals or data sent from it.
The computer keyboard is used to enter text information into the computer, as when you type the contents of a report. The keyboard can also be used to type commands directing the computer to perform certain actions. Typical pointing devices are: mouse, trackball, touch pad, track-point, graphics tablet, joystick, and touch screen. Your computer must produce a video signal that a monitor can display. This may be handled by circuitry on the motherboard, but is usually handled by a video card in one of the computer’s expansion slots; often the slot is a special one dedicated to video use, such as an AGP slot (Accelerated Graphics Port).
Video cards are also called video display adapters, and graphics cards. Many video cards contain separate processors and dedicated video memory for generating complex graphics quickly without burdening the CPU. These accelerated graphics cards are loved by gamers.
A flat panel display usually uses an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen to display output from the computer. The LCD consists of several thin layers that polarize the light passing through them. The polarization of one layer, containing long thin molecules called liquid crystals, can be controlled electronically at each pixel, blocking varying amounts of the light to make a pixel lighter or darker. Other types of flat panel technology exists, (such as plasma displays) but LCDs are most commonly used in computers, especially laptops.…...

...peers first, then family stimulates her daily. If a health predicament struck it is felt the comfort from family and friends would be most imperative. There is indecision in feeling God can realistically provide comfort. A recent death caused by cancer within the family is recounted to have been emotionally draining as two of the surviving family members are girls her age and seeing them go through the death of their mother was and continues to be trying. Significant Discoveries It was discovered that there was a surprising frankness in discussing spirituality. It is felt that there is more of a projected faith which is more influenced by the parents as there is not a concrete understanding of God’s capacities, much like James Fowler’s Stage 2 in his stages of faith development (O’Brien, 2011, p. 231). Peers and family are looked to for most support in any case. Comfort comes from those closest, like family and friends, and an unacquainted person, a hospital clergy, would make a situation uncomfortable. Socialization is paramount at this age and is significant in happiness. In observing this fifteen year old and some aloofness, it was significant to find that there is true empathy and compassion related to the recent death in the family. Loss is truly felt. What went well? The candidness and willingness to discuss spirituality went well. One was unsure how open a fifteen year old would be in discussing spirituality and was pleasantly surprised at the open honesty and the......

...From the Top Down Garrett Jensen ORG300 – Applying Leadership Principles Colorado State University – Global Campus Sheila Landfair Mueller, Ph.D. November 23, 2014 From the Top Down Effective communication throughout an organization starts from the top down. A leader’s ability to communicate is key to organizational success and motivating employees to a common goal. Without the use of effective communication within an organization, the organization itself or their projects can lead to an overall failure. As indicated by a trend in the bi-annual survey, Ben Williams’ employees are increasingly unsatisfied with the level of leadership from the top down. This essay will analyze where CEO Ben Williams’ falls short as an effective communicator that directly influences employee satisfaction. Summary of the Key Issues Ben Williams will have to change his leadership styles as well as communication skills in order to turn his employee’s satisfaction around thus ensuring his firm does not fail under his leadership. Williams currently only communicates with staff when he deems essential and only when he feels there is a problem that he can solve on his own. Through direct assertive control, Williams tells his subordinates what needs to be done and how they will do it, leaving no room for individual thought and negating the possibility of ideas from employees that may prove to be more efficient. The fact that Williams does not like meetings or electronic communication......

I believe that good cardio endurance is the key to passing and scoring well on all APFT events. If you can control your breathing, then your muscles will be able to process oxygen better. Next, I work on muscular strength and endurance, then I would focus on flexibility. For cardio, we would run 5-8 miles at a moderate (8 mile/min) pace. On Fridays I would do release runs to increase unit morale. Also, sprints/running combined events do help with cardio endurance. Honestly ability group runs would be the best exercise to help improve the 2 mile run. I would conduct circuit training with a variety of upper and lower body exercises to increase muscular strength and endurance. Before and after each exercise, I would implement intense stretching so that their muscles are fully stretched to increase their flexibility for better run results and to become stronger as a team. **The two best components or physical fitness for my unit to work on would be cardio respiratory endurance and muscular endurance.
