Data collection method: Secondary data: Secondary data can be collected through the Internet. At first, we search on the internet the information of Vietmac restaurants to know the information available or not. Thanks to secondary data, we can investigate that Vietmac restaurants also has many competitors such as KFC, Lotteria and Jollibee so we compare core competence of Vietmac restaurants to them and we find out that Vietmac restaurants bring more convenient to customers with shops integrated divers marts. Besides, we can know the Measurement of customer satisfaction about fast food product, especially, satisfaction measurement of Vietmac fast food product; Information about customer’s habits, needs; Defining the characteristics of product and answering what characteristics are most important and comments for Vietmac through secondary data. Primary data: Firstly, Primary research entails the use of immediate data in determining the survival of the market. The popular way to collect primary data is interviews, which shows that direct relationship between potential customers and the shops. Therefore, after we have the basic knowledge and information about Vietmac restaurants, we use primary data to collect the information. With Vietmac restaurants, our purpose is to find out the satisfaction of the customers with the services of the company. Firstly, with the interview, we interview the staffs of Vietmac restaurants to know exactly all the services they are serving, the experiences of them about the regular customers as well as some suggestions that customers usually give them to have some changes in their services. This interview process may take a litter time but we seem to be quickly understanding about Vietmac restaurants. Numerous studies has demonstrated the benefits of lean and agile strategies in enhancing the competitiveness of firms but none has really discussed or compared how performance differed when utilizing either strategies. Lean strategy can reduce, or even eliminate waste in the production process but lean might not be able to respond to fluctuation in customer demand while agile strategy enhance the responsiveness of the manufacturer. The results of this research show that both strategies provide different types of impact for the manufacturer. The findings also suggest that the manufacturer should not select either a lean or agile strategy but rather to combine both strategies. ...Lean Manufacturing “Lean” is a term that was coined in the late 1980s based on a study of the Toyota production system. It is based on the concept of continuous improvement of both the process and the product, while eliminating non-value added aspects of the process. Focusing on the value added parts of the process, a set of principles and tools for reducing waste (“muda”) in production process was developed. Lean also identifies the waste created by overburden (“muri”) and uneven flow (“mura”). Improving the “flow” creates a more efficient process. By creating better flow, problems surface, and waste is eliminated by eliminating inefficiencies. Eliminating waste and creating efficient processes improves quality and reduces production time and cost. Muri can be eliminated in the preparation and planning process. It concentrates on what work can be avoided by designing an efficient process. During implementation, the focus is on eliminating fluctuations in scheduling or operations or mura. Once the process is in place muda is discovered and addressed by determining the root causes of the waste. These are then viewed in the context of the process and tied back to muri and muda and remedies are planned and implemented for the next project and the cycle is repeated. We believe that continuous improvement activities are everyone’s responsibility and implementation must be taken seriously and supported by all levels of the organization. We believe that our customers are the reason that we exist and we must always provide them with a safe product or service. Kaizen events are held at least once a month with each supervisor expected to lead an event at least once a year. The main focus during our Kaizen events is waste (applicator, liquid, and packaging) reduction.
