Human Capitol and Organizational Behavior The focus on my final project for this class is the importance of Human Capitol and Organizational Behavior in the corporations to thrive. Human capitol can impact that corporation from the individual; group and organizational structure have on behavior within an organization. Organizational behavior is also important because it allows to better understanding the relationship between the different people in an organization. Investing in human capitol corporations must recognize the importance of investing in their employees now more than ever before. Corporations are beginning to understand the importance on retaining their people. The employee’s collective attitudes, skills and abilities of people contribute to the organization performance and productivity. Organization should invest in employee training and how they can improve their skills, organization should look at this type of training more like an investment not an expense. At the same time the employees should be open to new changes in the work place and have the ability to see how they can improve their own skills. Organizational Behavior is importance to better understand the employees in the organization. One of the ways that the organizations can improve the behavior of their employees by providing benefit programs for their employees can send a signal that the organization cares about the well-being of its employees, thereby strengthening the employer and employee relationship. Providing benefits or rewards for their employees and their hard work. This can improve their commitment of their employees to the organization. In learning those behaviors, there are three type of theory that can be used in studying human behavior. They are classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and social learning. That is what I believe when it comes to capital punishment.Though it is not right for a human to kill another human, it doesn't make it any better if the governmental system goes around killing criminals as well. I don't agree with capital punishment, and that a criminal would suffer more by being kept alive; serving a life sentence in prison. Capital punishment has it's flaws and doesn't do anything better for the society. The government system can make mistakes while investigating a criminal, in turn, the inmate would be convicted to death row by error. In 1995, the state of Missouri executed Larry Griffin for allegedly murdering a man in a drive-by shooting. ("Executed") Griffin maintained his innocence until his death, and in 2007 the St. Louis Circuit Attorney found that Griffin was guilty, due to a false witness testimony. It goes to show that many people sit on death row waiting to get executed are in all actuality guilty of their crime. You can keep a killer off the streets without executing them, by giving them life without parole. It won't be easy for the criminal, for he will be thinking about how he will spend the rest of his life locked up, knowing he will never get out. Is it right for us to blindly follow the opinions of someone based of social status? Of course not. In fact, Ignacio Gatti, the author of the article “Celebrities: Why Do They Have So Much Influence?”, went as far as to say that following someone’s opinions based simply off of social status is unethical.
