...expectations were wrong because ELA turned out to be fun to learn. One thing I learned in ELA was how to make a structure for a poem; I also learned that the structure of a poem is important because since poems are meant to be read out loud you need to write your poem how you want it to be read. A thing that I’m proud of from ELA class is that I became a better reader, I use to be in a low reading level and now I read books of my level grade. | MathMy expectations for math were that it was going to be hard to learn and understand. I Got Married

...I Got Married There are a lot of things in your life that will have cause and effect from medical to personal. One of the most rewarding cause and effects I can think of is when a person falls in love and gets married. Life as I know it would be completely different if I never said the words “I will” on January three. Knowing my former self I would not be very happy with myself today if I never met and married my beautiful wife. She changed my life for the better. Before I met my wife I was a lost soul looking for something that I thought existed somewhere. All I would find though was nothing but trouble. I drank too much and hung out with the wrong crowd. The group I hung around was all about drinking and one night stands. Not getting serious with anyone no matter what. Keeping everyone at a distance ready to move on in the blink of an eye, I guess that was just part of my military mentality. I can remember countless times of waking up somewhere with someone, with no clue how I got there or who the girl was because I drank so much that I got to the point that I would passed out. When I met my wife my world changed slowly but surely for the better. I stopped hanging out with those people and more or less stopped drinking. She helped me see things in a different light, since she is one of the most responsible people I know. She showed me that there was more to life than drinking and having one night stands. Since I met my wife my life has taken a turn for the better. I...

Who's Got the Monkey

...Management Time: Who’s Got the Monkey? In Ocken’s and Wass’ short story, “Management Time: Who’s Got the Monkey?”, a manager seems to be overwhelmed with the amount of problems that ha been brought to him by his subordinates. They approach him with a problem, or “monkey” and expect him to fix it, making it his problem, or his “monkey”. By the end of the day, he has too many monkeys on his back and too little time to “feed” them. His subordinates, ensuring that he has not missed the point will occasionally check up on him. This is what we call supervision (4). Instead of the manager being the one in charge, his subordinates have become his superiors. There are three kinds of management time to be considered. Boss-imposed time- used to accomplish tasks that can only be accomplished by the manager. If disregarded by the manager, there will be swift penalty. System-imposed time- used to suit demands from associates for dynamic backing. Ignoring these solicitations will additionally bring about punishments, however not generally as immediate and quick. Self-imposed time- used to take on tasks initiated by the manager. This type of time has portions that are taken up by the subordinate which is considered subordinate-imposed time. The portion left remaining belongs to the manager and is called discretionary time. No penalties are faced with self –imposed time because it was not known the intention of the manager to take on a task in the first place (Oncken and Wass 4). ...

All banks will be encouraged to substantially increase advances for micro, small, and medium enterprises.  Bangladesh Bank's supervisory vigilance on banking governance will be straightened further to clamp down on loan delinquencies.  As before, Bangladesh Bank's monetary and financial policy stance remains grounded on the developmental central banking mandate enshrined in its charter. 1 Bangladesh Bank’s Monetary Policy Stance for the Second Half of the FY2016: January-June 2016  This Monetary Policy Statement (MPS) is announcing Bangladesh Bank’s monetary policy stance for the second half (H2) of the FY16 as the second leg of its monetary program for the FY16, drawn up in the backdrop of sustained spell of CPI inflation moderation and output growth momentum upheld by cautious but explicitly growth supportive stance of monetary and financial policies pursued in the recent years. As usual, the FY16 monetary program and the monetary policy stance for the H2 of the FY16 have been chalked up drawing on the experience with the preceding program and on inputs from face to face and online stakeholder consultations.  supporting the public policy objectives of inclusive, environmentally sustainable growth, and maintaining......

How Affective Are Backbench Mps

...Backbench Mps are highly effective within the British Political system, as they‘re able to scrutinize government actions and hold them to account in numerous ways. Their role in Parliament in westminster ensures the democratic legitimacy of UK government and gives the government authority and a right to exercise political power. Backbench Mps also increase the overall representation of the UK through Parliament. However, with growing government powerl, often called exessive, there have been recent fears among politicians that as elective dictatorship has formed in the UK, and backbench MPs have little power in holding the government to account due to the party system, which ensures MPs are dictated by ministers and party whips, where persuasive ways reduce their effectiveness withing the political system. I will therefore outline the arguments both for and against how effective backbench MPs are in British Politics today. Firstly, backbench Mps are key in calling the govenrment of today to account, making them answerable for their actions and policies. This is achieved through questions to the Prime Minister and questions to ministers. Through Prime Ministers questions which takes place weekly for half an hour, backbench Mps from the governing party and the opposition are able to scrutinize the weekly actions of the govenrment. Backbench MPs also use this system to increase the representative function of Parliament, through raising specific issues of their constituents......

They'Ve Got Your 'Bak

...Running Head: MODULE 2: THEY’VE GOT YOUR ‘BAK They’ve Got Your ‘Bak CamelBak’s business relationships and strategic partnerships have helped increase the value of CamelBak’s products and the business. CamelBak’s first major move was selling their product to the military for use in the Gulf War in 1991. This allowed the government and military personnel use the product in extreme situations and conditions. It probably saved lives by keeping military personnel hydrated in the desert. A few years later, in 1995, the company was sold and redesigned with camouflage. This made the packs even more appealing to the military and they issued all personnel their own CamelBak which could be used during extreme situations such as the war in desert conditions or even during training and PT sessions. The most effective move for CamelBak was partnering with DuPont to continue their progress and research to better the product for even more extreme situations. This allowed CamelBak to reach clients that would not have otherwise been able to take advantage of the system before. I believe that CamelBak took into consideration of the needs of military, law enforcement and other clients with extreme conditions to market and create their products. I believe he ideas from first hand experiences through Michael Edison and Chuck Hunter made the most impact on how to reach clientst hat could not be reached before. With the design and creation of the LIRR system, personnel who could not have a...
