Throughout my life I want have the chance to travel to the places I have wanted to go to. The first place that I would want to travel to is New York. I would like to go to New York City. I have never been there, but I have heard so many good things about that place. I would like to go to college out there, but I don't think that is going to happen. Some reasons why I want to go there is because I want to see the Statue of Liberty, in person. Someday I would like to move there. I think that one of the main reasons why I want to go to college, and someday move there, is because I want to get away from the desert life, and experiment with a new life style. Another reason why I want to move there is because I am the kind of person, who always wants to be on the go, and always doing something. Also because I am the kind of person who likes the city life, and I like to be around people. Some where else I would like to go is the tiny island of Bermuda. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to go to the Bermuda Triangle. I'm not really sure why I want to go to Bermuda and the Bermuda Triangle, but it is some where I would like to go. I have always thought that the mysteries, and the stories about the triangle is very interesting, and now I want to got there. The other place that I want to travel to is Fiji. I would like the chance to go there because the islands of Fiji look so beautiful from pictures and I want to see them in person. I don't really want to go see places like Jamaica, because that is a common vacation spot, for many people. I would like to go there some day but, I would rather go to Bermuda or Fiji, as a island vacation. There are many other places that I would love to to travel to, but the main places that I want to go to is New York, Bermuda, and Fiji. I want to go see the small, islands, and countries, first. I don't want to go see the most common,…...

My Dream Vacation

...My Dream Vacation! By: Chase P Loosli B5 I have wanted to go for a vacation for very long. The country for my dream vacation is Australia. Australia is a part of the continent, Oceania. It is a big country with many attractions. I am going to share with you, in this essay, what attracts me such that I want to go to Australia, There are many physical factors in Australia. One of them is deserts. I would like to go to a desert in Australia as there are many plants and animals at the deserts. I can also experience a bit of desert life and know more about deserts after going to one myself. Another physical factor is the rock formations. There are many rock formations in Australia that are formed naturally. These rock formations make a good place to watch sunrise and sunsets. I am sure we do not want to miss such a spectacle as it would be such a pity. Examples of such rock formations are Uluru, otherwise called Ayers Rock, which is a World Heritage Site, Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga, and Devils Marbles. The third physical factor is the ranges, which consists of mountains and hills. The ranges let us see a series of mountains together. Climbing one of the mountains is a good experience for me as I had not tried mountain climbing before. Since they are ranges, there must be nice scenery there too. I would like to go there to see the beautiful scenery. Examples are Brindabella Ranges, visible to the west of Canberra, and Flinders Ranges, the largest......

It's the perfect place to get away from the reality of every day life and the stress that goes along with it, and the choices and ideas of the “perfect vacation” are as varied as the people who dream about them. Some fantasize about lazing on a warm, sunny beach with soft ocean breezes and a cold exotic drink at their side. There are those whose ideas of the perfect dream vacation involves the thrill of stock car racing mixed with the roar of the crowd, the smell of fuel and hot asphalt that's mingled with the smell of hot dogs and fries from the concession stand, and the heart stopping excitement of mishaps on the track. So what is my idea of the perfect dream vacation? It's simple. It's the place where there are no crowds, everything is familiar, the food is prepared to my specific taste, and the bed is my own. Vacation

...The shadow of the palm trees reflecting on the soft sand at the beach side, while the waves of the beach are hitting the ground, is what makes this place so special. Just to imagine sitting at the beach while the palm trees are creating a shadow on my skin, and at the same time their branches are waving back and forth to provide a clear and clean breeze, is so relaxing. Therefore, I chose this State for my favorite vacation place. This alone that the nickname of the State is Sunshine State (en.wikipedia.org) shows a lot because that is what it is all about, a place to recognize the sun and its amazing features warming up the world to the joy of its people, making the climate so pleasant and relaxing. In fact, throughout the winter season, the climate is never below 60 degree and frost has never been reported there (www.statesymbolsusa.org). Furthermore, whenever I was there the sun always shone brightly comforting me with his strong sun rays, making it a place to escape from the cold New York during the freezing winter days. While strolling down the long and endless boardwalk, I got so inspired by its breathtaking sceneries. Starting from the beautiful beach view continuing to the white sand covered shore on one side, and on the other side many sky-high luxurious hotels each one with its amazing spa areas including incredible outdoor saunas and heated pools. Even after sunset the area does not lose its nice view since the colorful eye-catching lights take over by......

Vacation

...Tarsha Strong English 1101/Mrs.Staton Reflective Essay 29 June 2013 A Memorable Bahamas Vacation Its 10:15 am, we are getting ready to board the ship. I am relieved to be standing after sitting in an RV for 10 hours while riding from Georgia to Florida. My aunts, cousins, and my mom are smiling and hugging each other because they are happy to see my family that we have not seen in awhile. We wave goodbye to my uncles as they drive off. As I walk toward the ship I become anxious and excited. I’m holding my luggage and smiling at the attendant. I look at my mom and say, “I can’t believe we are headed to the Bahamas.” We are standing in a long line waiting to check in our entire luggage. The security officers are making sure we don’t have things that are not allowed. Now that we are finished, my mom and I head to our room. We take the elevator to the third floor where our room is located. I open the door to our room and I see two twin beds with cute little animals on them made with towels. My mom has an alligator and I have an elephant. I take a picture and smile because I think this is so cool. Now its time for me to shower, so I sit my luggage on the bed, take out a nice sun dress, and head for the shower. First we head to the top floor of the ship. Everyone must do a safety drill. The captain comes on over a loud speaker and welcomes everyone to the cruise. Then he begins the speech of all the safety rules. The staff members are demonstrating how to use the......

Vacation

...Sample Essay – My Summer Vacation I had a fantastic summer vacation! My family and I spent a lot of time at the beach. We also went on a trip to Disney World. We ended our summer by traveling to southern California for a soccer tournament. It was nice to be able to spend so much time with my family this summer. In the beginning of the summer, I went to the beach with my kids at least once a week. We were so lucky because every time we were at the beach I saw the dolphins splashing playfully in the surf. We would usually arrive around 12:00, when the sand was as hot as coals in a barbecue. Sometimes we would stay until 7:00 in the evening. At the end of the day I loved to watch the flaming red ball creep slowly down into the shimmering ocean. Going to the beach is my favorite thing to do in the summer. Towards the middle of my summer vacation, my whole family and I flew to Florida to visit Disney World. We had never been before, and I could not believe how big and beautiful the Disney property was. It was like being in the center of a rainbow. Everywhere you looked, there was loads of color. The weather was hot and humid. We were soaked with sweat the entire time, but we were able to refresh ourselves in the beach-like pool. We stayed at a hotel called The Beach Club, and the pool there actually had sand at the bottom of it. It was fun to travel all the way to Florida. As my vacation was coming to an end, we made a trip to Huntington Beach for my......

Vacations

...Vacations Doris A. Davis Vacations Cruises appeal to many travelers because they are considered all-inclusive vacations. Pay one price and receive accommodations, meals, entertainment, and transportation between island and port destinations. But once onboard, many cruisers find themselves shelling out hundreds of additional dollars for shore excursions, alcoholic beverages, and gratuities. What happened to their supposedly all-inclusive vacation? Many land-based resorts also refer to themselves as all-inclusive, yet [the properties offer a different set of included amenities. As I look at the picture my mind can imagine exactly what my experience would be. So what does it really mean to be all-inclusive? I have compared the pictures of all-inclusive resort and cruises at sea I believe all-inclusive land resort vacations are the best. All-inclusive cruises and resorts tend to include different amenities in the base price. Book a mainstream cruise, and you'll receive accommodations, all meals and snacks, certain beverages at meal times, use of the ship's facilities (such as the pool, kids club, and fitness center), onboard activities and entertainment, and transportation between ports-of-call. You will have to pay extra for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, tips for a waiter, spa treatments, shore excursions, airfare, and airport transfers. Luxury liners may include tips for the waiter and alcohol in their base price. On the other hand, book an all-inclusive resort......

Dream Vacation Spots

...Roshni Allen Dr. Leon Watson GEOG 1500 18 March 2013 4 Dream Vacation Spots Switzerland Growing up in India, I used to watch movies where one of the most cherished vacation spots shown over and again in many movies was Switzerland. Actors and actresses would sing romantic songs in the beautiful snow filled Alps or gorgeous green and lush fields, with trees in the background that I had only learned about in school. Switzerland has environmental issues such as some acid rain, air pollution from vehicle emissions, water pollution from fertilizers, and loss of biodiversity (CIA World factbook1). It is something I will most likely not worry about though. However, avalanche, landslides, and flash floods could be something that I may study prior to leaving to avoid it. I will be able to use my credit card as usual in the country, as long as I notify my bank in advance. This will take hassle out of carrying cash and worrying about the latest currency exchange rate or thieves. Safety and travelling systems are rated A, which means strict rules and regulations. For ex, travelling through highways requires a sticker that needs to be purchased prior to travelling (CountryWatch1 ,159). I would like to go for at least a week with my family (husband and son). I would visit in summer, since I get cold easily and will not be able to colorful scenery. One of the places I would like to visit is the Island of Brissago (see attachment A1), a botanical garden of the Canton Ticino...

Vacation

...A Great Vacation Have you ever been on a cruiz or to another state with amazing view? Whether you've given it any thought or not, there are many qualities that makes a vacation a great one. A vacation can be divided into three groups such as: great scenery, good food, and great weather. For most people, the hardest part about a vacation is figuring out where to go. Majority of the process of finding the spot is the scenery. There are many islands that have amazing views, and also huge cities that have city views; it's entirely up to you and your preferences as to where to go. Niagra falls, for example, is an amazing place to visit. The scenery is breathttaking, everyone consider the visit at least once in their life time. The bahamas as well, is also a great place to visit when it comes to scenery. The water is a stunning deep blue that no other view can compare to. The weather is also mostly always warm and the sun is always shining. Nothing tops the great vacation list more than what you eat. Great food is a big part of a grerat vacation because you experience many different cultures that you may only have once in a life time to do. There are many different foods that we have around the world that aren't made where we live, no one can come close to making some things either. You may come across that one specific food you like that no other place has, you would want to bring it back with you but it won't last forever. You also wouldn't want to have bad food on your......

Dream Vacation

...A typical dream vacation usually consists of traveling to a foreign country such as Italy or to a more tropical setting such as Bora Bora. Although I would love to travel to these places I have a location completely different in mind. Not a significant amount prefer traveling to what I consider as my dream vacation location. To be completely honest I am not very educated when it comes to this place and I have no idea what to expect if I were to ever travel there. Despite this fact I am confident that my dream location is rich in culture and art, two aspects in life that I am strongly passionate about. Culture is imbedded in every person that walks this Earth and if I have the capacity to learn about the variety of cultures, I shall. I find it amazing how although we inhabit the same Earth each culture adopts different beliefs and lifestyles. Art resides in each culture and I enjoy witnessing the diversity of details in each piece and the infinite amount of culture flowing out of each one. My dream vacation would consist of educating myself about the culture and art of the one place where I am certain it will satisfy my curiosity: India. For about two years I have been growing more and more interested in learning about India. My goal in the future is to travel there and spend about a month journeying through out India learning about the different landmarks and the people who reside there. I have always wanted to experience walking the paths of India dressed in a saree with a...

Best Vacation

...Best Vacation I Always Have Last year I had the best summer of my life, because I got to go on the vacation of my dreams again. We rented a bright blue Jeep, and headed to the beach in Destin, Florida for a week of extremely relaxing rolling waves, and very fine white sandy beaches. The first night there I was sitting by the blazing fire having a fruity adult beverage, and the sweet smell of the air reminded me of my childhood vacations to the Port Aransas beach in Texas with my parents over summer break from elementary school. I will never forget the outstanding memories I created with my parents on my childhood vacations. I could see the constant waves in the ocean from across the crowded beach, and I would always be so excited to step on the soft, white, sandy beach. As a young child, the first thing I would do is change into my one piece lacy swimsuit and run out to the beach. My cousins and I would spend the day splashing in the salty water, until we were too tired to keep our heads above the water. Then we would sit under our yellow umbrella on the soft damp sand and eat a bite of our favorite foods. It felt so good to have the bright sun blazing down on me. Our favorite thing to do was build the biggest sand castles on the beach. My cousins and I would have contests to see who could draw the best artwork in the sand. The grains of sand glistened in the sun like glitter on our newest handmade T-shirts. I will never forget how the gigantic boat......

Family Vacation

...my family and I have saved for a vacation. We have a good sum in our vacation fund and after the past three years of working hard, we deserve some time to relax and enjoy each other. We all have two weeks off in September and are starting to look at where we want to go. Each of us has a place in mind, but no one is committed to any one place. Mainly we want to go somewhere that offers lots of activities to keep us busy, a place we can relax, and somewhere that will add to our family memories. I have researched several popular vacation locations and finally found Bora Bora, one of the islands in the French Polynesian chain, near Tahiti. Bora Bora has all the ingredients for a wonderful family vacation that we will remember the rest of our lives. Bora Bora is known as a popular exotic destination and will be a great location for our vacation. The main requirement for the place I want our family to go for our vacation is that it has a variety of activities so that we can all fill our time with fun. Of course, vacations are supposed to be relaxing, so wherever we go it should be a place that soothes the soul. Bora Bora has all the requirements but is not within our vacation budget, so I did further review on this travel destination in order to show my family this is a once in a lifetime vacation. To meet all of our vacation requirements, I knew the place would have to be tropical. I researched many places including Hawaii and Mexico. Vacations to either one of those places......
