Palm oil press differ from conventional plant oil material
Palm oil press roughly divided into five steps:

1. Palm oil press material receiving storage section
Take the fresh and mature palm fruit to discharge table.
Make fruit free fall into the cage in the cage.

2. Palm oil press sterilization
Sterilization for about 60 minutes, high-temperature cooking oil palm fruit pulp of lipase, to avoid oil free fatty acid content increases.

To facilitate mechanical threshing, soft fruit, also is advantageous to the subsequent core shell, reduce the breakage of the nuts.

3. Palm oil press section of take off the fruit section
Oil palm fruit grain occupy about 60% of the whole fruit bouquet, threshing purpose is to isolate the palm fruit from the bouquet.
After the separation of oil palm fruit discharge, palm fruit can be put into press section.

4. The whole palm oil press section
Crushing and cooking to tear fruit skin, separate the pulp and the core and mash pulp tissue, heat at the same time to make soft flesh, destruction flesh cell structure. Then put the palm fruit into screw press machine

5. Palm oil processing -squeeze oil cleaning section
After squeezing we can get crude palm oil, after washed with water, diluted after sedimentation, filtration, efiber material can be removed from the oil, which is roughly the technology of palm oil press.

Conventional oil squeezing approximately two kinds: hot press and cold press:

peanut hot press as an example.
When Hot pressing, first we need to crush or flaking, out it in the steamer about 1.5 to 2 hours, and then put inside boiler steam with a temperature of 120 degrees or so, when water percentage is about 3% then can become pressing, press temperature should be of 85 degrees, is the normal press processing.
If there is no steamer, peanut kernel can also be Fried in fry pan, first crushing peanut , gradually increase…...

...CASE STUDY : PIRATES OF THE SILVERLAND (PALM OIL PIRACY) Company’s Introduction Palm Haul Sdn. Bhd. (PHSB) was a family-owned small and medium sized enterprise in the crude palm oil (CPO) transportation business located in Taiping, Perak. Established in 2002, it had about 200 employees which most of them were tanker drivers. On the average, PHSB transported 3000 tonnes of CPO from palm oil mills to the respective refineries that purchased the oil from oil palm plantation companies and cooperative mills. The company actually facing alarming problem with the quality of consignments to the refineries where the CPO either delivered short or contaminated with water or sludge. Statement of the problems Oilene refineries as one of PHSB’s major customer seriously affected by the bad consignments as they had to shut down the plant to clean out the sludge almost on a weekly basis and this was affecting their delivery timelines as well as the quality of the oil they produced. On top of that, there had been many occasions where the consignment delivered did not tally with amounts listed on the delivery orders. Oilene management had to decide whether to renew contract with PHSB which is due in June or to hire other CPO transportation company such as Tiger Oils Transporter which reported a more reliable transporter. Recommendations for Oilene 1. Contaminated CPO To overcome the problem caused by contaminated consignments that shutdown the eventually shutdown the whole......

Oil Processing Process, Edible Oil Mill Machinery Manufacture

...Processing of oil from plants or seeds needs high expertise and knowledge along with advanced technology. To process the oil from the source, a detailed and systematic is carried out. The process includes a number of procedures from seed cleaning, dehulling, cracking, heating, expelling, filtering to refining. Cleaning of the seeds can be done with seed cleaners. These machines are designed to remove any kind of metal, stone, rot seeds and other impurities or extraneous materials before dehulling. The stripped seeds then pressed to ensure more surface area. For crushing the seeds, mechanized grooved rollers and hammer mills crush can be used for ensuring proper material consistency. After this, the seeds are heated for the extraction of the oil. The heated seeds are fed constantly into a screw press that enhances the pressure gradually as they pass through a slotted barrel. When the initial oil is recovered from the screw press, the remaining oil cake in the press is also processed using solvent extraction. Volatile hydrocarbon is commonly used to dissolve the oil out of oil cake that is recovered by distillation method. Different machines are used for solvent percolation through the matter that is occasionally dumped and replaced. We can produce all kinds of edible oil mill machinery, which includes peanut oil production line, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, rice bran oil and other kinds of edible oil production line. The whole production line...

GDP growth has averaged almost 6% over the last decade with a population growth averaging at 1.4%. Indonesia’s population is expected to grow at an annual growth rate of 0.57% to over 271 million by 2030. Indonesia’s industrial sector largely dominates production, contributing over 48% to aggregate economic activity (including oil and gas which accounts for 10% of GDP). The palm oil industry has the potential to generate significant social and economic development in Indonesia. It is Indonesia’s largest agricultural export and provides income and economic development to the large proportion of rural poor Indonesia. In recent decades the global market for palm oil has seen exponential growth with current production estimated at over 45 million tons, with Indonesia being one of the world’s, largest producers and exporters, producing over 18 million tons of palm oil annually. Although only contributing 8 % to GDP, the palm oil plantations provide for around two thirds of rural household incomes. Over 41% of plantations were owned by small......

Cold Oil Processing Machine Is Good for Edible Oil

...Cold Oil Processing Machine Is Good For Edible Oil In the Oil Processing Machines, in generally, it can be divide into two kinds--hot oil processing machine and cold oil processing machine. Each of these two kinds oil processing machine has its advantages, as we all know, the hot oil processing machines’ oil extraction rate is higher than cold oil processing machine. Maybe you will think the hot oil processing machine is better than the cold oil processing machine, I will say no, because according to most users’ feed-back information, the cold oil processing machine is good for the edible oil. The below are the cold oil processing machine’s features: First of all, the cold oil processing machine’s protein in the oil cake damage is low because of the low temperature pressing thus making full use of the vegetable protein. Secondly, the cold pressing oil is with bright color, high nutrition. Natural oil is gained by mechanical sedimentation and filtering. There is no need for refining, reducing consumption. Last but not least, the low consumption in oil, cake nutrition and tace element, and at the same time the cake protein is preserved. One of the important reason is that the oil material has no contact with any solvent, acid, alkali, bleaching earth or chemical additive in the oil pressing process. More informations or needs about the oil processing machine pls contact me freely, we also welcome your inquiry, and will reply you as soon as......

Some Knowledge About the Oil Seed Processing Plant

...Maybe in your daily life, the Oil Seed Processing Plant is often used, and you are very familiar with the oil seed processing plant, but today you will know something different about the seed oil processing plant. In the oil seed processing plant, cooking process may also produce oxygen acid, make oil acid value increase, also may be due to the binding reaction or some low molecular weight fatty acid is distilled, the oil acid value decreased production of fatty acids and other substances. Steam heating effect of the process of speculation, make the billet in high temperature, and weaken the enhanced oil thermal motion of molecules and molecular cohesion, resulting in green oil viscosity and surface tension reduction, weakening the binding of grease and part of the green gel and enhance the mobility of the oil, oil get rid of protein hydrophobic adsorption force and to create the conditions to overcome the flow friction resistance. This change makes the oil mill machinery easier to separate the oil from the oil when the oil is pressed. Chemical changes of oil when oil mill machinery processes oil. In the temperature range used in the process of steaming and frying, it is impossible to make the oil produce profound chemical changes. But because oil is film shaped in the blank surface broad, steaming wok especially when heated contact with oxygen in the air will make the oil oxidation, resulting in oil peroxide value increased. After reading this passage you maybe......

...The Growing Demand for Palm Oil in India With the world’s second largest population of 1.2 billion and its oils and fats consumption estimated at 17.8 million tonnes in 2010, India becomes one of the world’s leading oils and fats economies. India is one of the largest producers of oilseeds in the world, both in terms of the area and output. However, India is the third world’s leading importer of oils and fats in 2010. India’s oils and fats production have not been able to keep pace with the large demand in the country. Estimates indicate that while the oils and fats output grew at about two percent per annum over the past four years, consumption has grown at some seven percent per annum; hence import of oils and fats is necessary to fill the gap between production and consumption. The total consumption of oils and fats for 2010 was 17.8 million tonnes while local production was only able to cater 9.0 million tonnes. Palm Oil – Continue to be Major Importing Oil by India Palm oil has been the major imported oil by India which has become the world’s largest importer of palm oil. In 2010, a total of 6.58 million tonnes of palm oil were imported and it constituted about 70% of India’s total imports. Most of the palm oil imported into India is in the form of crude palm oil. The main two exporters of palm oil to India are Malaysia and Indonesia with Indonesia having the market share of 80% approximately. The large market share of palm oil in India’s oils and fats imports is......
