Riordan Manufacturing
Riordan Manufacturing is a company the manufactures plastics globally. The company have five hundred fifty employees and an annual earning of forty-six millions. Riordan Industries has a Fortune 1000 enterprise with revenues that excess of one billion dollars. It has a plant in Albany, Georgia that produces plastic beverage containers. In Pontiac, Michigan this facility produces a custom plastic parts. In Hangzhou, China this facility produces plastic fans. The Company’s headquarter in San Jose California is a research and development facility. Their customers are the Department of Defense, automotive parts manufacturers, aircraft manufacturers, beverage makers and bottlers, and appliance manufacturers.
Every company wants the best system that will help make their company grow bigger and better. Riordan Manufacturing Company has a system in the Human Resource department that is a little outdated. It will require a new HR system to make workflow easier and faster for them. This will require a good implementation stage in order to make it successful for the company. There are six major activities that must be address. These are coding, testing, installation, documentation, training and support.
Coding is can be difficult to understand because it is considered to be subjective and non-subjective at the same time. It needs to be thoroughly planned out to have a good code for the new system. It will need to have a good design pattern, have common libraries and a good project structure. For this system to be successful it will need to have a high quality and maintainable codes. Providing the right alignment, white space, naming syntax highlighting, right context and IDE will create a clear code.
